About Me

Working at a Body Shop in Burbank has given me a front row seat to something many people never think about until they need it. I'm Eric Yer, and I've always believed that every vehicle has its own story. Some represent a family's daily routine. Others are weekend projects or lifelong dreams. Helping restore them isn't simply part of my job it's something I genuinely enjoy because I know how much those vehicles mean to the people who own them.
Long before I started my career, I was the kid who stopped to admire classic cars at local events and asked far too many questions about engines and bodywork. Earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of California helped me understand the business side of the industry, but my appreciation for automobiles came from years of curiosity. Books can teach strategy. Experience teaches perspective, and I've been fortunate to learn from both.
People often assume collision repair is only about fixing visible damage. It isn't. A quality repair takes patience, careful planning, and attention to details that most drivers will never see. That's exactly how it should be. If a repair is done properly, the customer notices how well the car drives not the work that went into making it happen.
Away from work, I enjoy slowing life down. A quiet bike ride through Southern California, an afternoon spent fishing, or watching a well made movie can be just as rewarding as a productive day at the shop. Films have always fascinated me because the best ones stay with you long after they're over. I think the same idea applies to good craftsmanship. People remember quality long after they've forgotten the price.
I've also learned that the automotive industry never stands still. New materials, improved safety systems, and electric vehicles continue to change the way repairs are performed. Staying informed isn't optional if you want to provide honest guidance and meaningful support. It's one of the reasons I enjoy learning something new whenever I get the opportunity.
The best part of my work is meeting people from all walks of life and helping them through an unexpected situation. Nobody plans for an accident, but everyone deserves straightforward advice and repairs they can trust. That's the standard I try to uphold every day, and it's the same approach that matters when working with advanced electric vehicles at a trusted Tesla Certified Body Shop.
